WINGS 2 VISION (Chapter 2) 2018-19

Wings 2 Vision is the flagship event of PTVAIM Centre of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (COEI) Wings 2 Vision is a training bosed business plan competition which was held for the first time in year 2017-18 but only for students of PTVA. The success enjoyed by Wings 2 Vision then encouraged the loom lo conduct it this year too but on a much larger scale. Undergraduate and post graduate students from colleges across Mumbai were encouraged to send their business plans, the registration and idea form for which was available on COEI website. The shortlisted participants were given a one day intensive training on How to build a business plan completely from the competition perspective.The first level panel round for participants was held on 20th February 2019.The grand finale was held on 23rd February 2019 in PTVAIM campus at 9 am. The Prize Distribution Ceremony was held on 23rd February, 2019 at 5pm at Keshavrao Ghaisas Auditorium.

WINGS 2 VISION (Chapter 1) 2017-18

A training based Business Plan Competition which was held for 3 colleges and 1 Institute of Management of our parent trust PTVA. 100 students were a part of it. After the pre-screening 55 participants i.e. 27 business ideas went to semi-final round. The three winning ideas were giving prize money which was to act as a seed fund of rupees 1 lakh, 75 thousand and 50 thousand respectively. These winning teams then became a part of COEI and were given access to the infrastructure and other facilities provided by COEI Phase I.

Be a Job Creator .......Not a Job Seeker

A national level conference titled “Be a Job Creator….. not a Job Seeker” was organized in 2016. It had a footfall of 300 and enjoyed virtual nationwide coverage with association to Reliance Jio. It consisted of several panel discussions with industry experts and was well appreciated by all participants. This event laid a strong foundation for the idea of entrepreneurship among larger student populace.

The first prominent activity in the year 2015 was a boot camp on ideation was attended by 20 interested students of PTVA’s Institute of Management. 2 ideas from this boot camp were developed; one of which Sanskar Puzzle developed by Meetesh Charmela also won several prizes.
